The Rise Above the Ashes Protocol is my 6-step embodied process that helps you move from awareness to integration — gently, safely & in your own time. This is the protocol at work in each of my tarot & life coaching packages and will be at work in many of my future services & products.
1) Redefining Awareness
Awareness becomes an ally, not an alarm system.
What it is: Awareness that’s kind, accurate & usable — not hypervigilance or overthinking.
Why it matters: Many sensitive people are “aware” but not resourced; this step turns awareness into a supportive skill.
What it looks like: Noticing internal weather (thoughts, emotions, body), naming the moment & orienting to safety: “This is what’s here, & I can stay with it.”
2) Honoring Grief & Identity Shifts
Grief is not a detour — it’s part of the map.
What it is: Making space for what’s been lost — old versions of you, roles, capacity, relationships, certainty.
Why it matters: Unprocessed grief often disguises itself as procrastination, numbness, irritability or “I don’t know who I am anymore.”
What it looks like: Validating the change, allowing mixed emotions & naming the identity transition: “Something ended. Something new is forming.”
3) Listening to the Body’s Language
Your body isn’t betraying you — it’s communicating.
What it is: Treating the body as information (not punishment or an enemy): sensations, symptoms, energy, tension, shutdown, cues & intuition.
Why it matters: The body tells the truth faster than the mind — especially when you’ve learned to override yourself.
What it looks like: Tracking signals & translating them into needs or boundaries: “My chest tightens = I’m bracing. I need pace, choice or support.”
4) Identifying Hidden Patterns & Identity Leaks
Identity leaks reveal where you’re still living from protection instead of truth.
What it is: Spotting the subtle ways your old survival identity still runs the show — people-pleasing, over-functioning, proving, minimizing, self-abandoning.
Why it matters: Change fails when your patterns stay in charge, even if your intentions are strong.
What it looks like: Naming the leak (where you drift from truth), the trigger & the payoff or cost: “When I feel uncertain, I perform competence & ignore my limits.”
5) Choosing Conscious Alignment
Alignment is choosing yourself without abandoning others — or abandoning yourself.
What it is: Making decisions that match your values, needs & capacity — one honest choice at a time.
Why it matters: Alignment isn’t a vibe; it’s a practice. This is where clarity becomes action.
What it looks like: Asking: “What’s true? What’s mine? What’s the next aligned step I can sustain?” Then choosing micro-actions that don’t betray your body.
6) Embodying Awareness for Lasting Change
Lasting change is awareness you can live, not just understand.
What it is: Turning insight into a lived baseline — through repetition, nervous-system support & new identity rehearsals.
Why it matters: Breakthroughs fade if the body doesn’t learn to feel safe in the new way of being.
What it looks like: Small, consistent practices, accountability & in-the-moment reps: pause → notice → choose → repair.
You’ll redefine awareness, honor what’s been lost, listen to your body, uncover what’s unconsciously leaking your power, choose aligned action & embody it until it sticks.
